Our short short getaway for pre-xmas

Got this from deal.com for around S$160/pax for water chalet and round trip coach.
wanted to top up more for the prem water chalet that is facing the sea but it was fully booked.

and here we are at the
Avillion Port Dickson

reached there around 1pm+, it was high tide

was thinking.... its only port dickson somemore its high tide... sure nothing to shoot... so I didnt bring my cam for this trip.

You can wash your foots at the footwash before going to your room...

look like this.... definately big enough for the whole family la!

A king sized bed & day bed by the window~

how sad... it didnt face the sea since its fully booked..
it didnt even face the shore... it faced the inside of the resort UPSET!!!!

here the other side of the room....an open shower and bath tub~

after we settled down, we roam around the resort to see what is available~

they have some rest point in between too.... 

we walked further down to the beach stalls nearby....

to have our cheap cheap dinner!!!!

and back to our room after dinner....
lucky i downloaded some movie on ipad to watch & spend our night...

looking down at the gap between the bathroom and bedroom....
its low tide and I can see the beautiful sand!

Next day breakkie

After breakkie, happened to chance upon the fee-a-pet session where you can go into the mini farm to feed the animals

and the staff put the chicken on my head!!!!!!

way good weather than the previous day....

and its low tide!!!! the resort look much prettier!

we still have some time before checking out..... 

went to explore the other side of the beach....

as we were walking for around 10mins..... i noticed the below 'speck' of sand seems to be moving...

we thought our eyes were playing trick on us...... and as we walked.... we saw more 'movements'.

and we realised it is little tiny crabs!!!!

and there are like many thousands of them!!!!!!!!!!!11

OMGGGGGG!!!

and i didnt bring my camera.... so silly of meeeee!!!!

i tell you.... it was damn hard ..... its so tiny and i cant zoom!!!!

nevertheless i tried very very hard ..... 

once we make a move.....the crabbies hide themselves... =(((

so i decide to ambush them instead =X

step 1. find the area with the most crabs

step 2. RUNNNNNN very quickly so they will hide on their spot like immediately

step 3. squat down and position yourself

the tiny holes are their hide outs~

went back to the resort for lunch before we leave PD~

felt that this is a good place for family with kids, kids can interact and learn about the eco and animals..
