A very late update on a biz trip to manila ...
went to hertz for airport transfer to my hotel for 12 nights...
Eastwood Richmonde Hotel
Eastwood is the 2nd biggest biz district after Makati City
luckily the hotel dont disappoint!
our hotel is link to eastwood mall, that had a no. of restaurants and shops..
for a first timer to Philippines, i got a shock to have bag check at the entry into every malls...
later i find out that its becoz of theres quite a number of bomb threat happening in the country.. and for malls that is at more deserted places..the security guard is even armed with rifles.
Our first meal was at eastwood mall : crisostomo
their local food, very very big portion!

bad bad jam....
jeepney... something like mini bus which you can board and alight anytime between that specific route. but the locals told us not to take this, and even cab... is dangerous.
day 2 dinner ...
very nice italian food! also at eastwood mall!
the flood got worst .... this is the view from our hotel...
the govt declared a off day.... we headed back to hotel...
not much ppl and shops were mainly closed as many was affected by the flood
luckily mac is opened! we hving the uniquely filipinos mac ....!
with rice and spaghetti!
and this is how i spend the whole afternn in my room~
dinner at eastwood....yes again... coz we cant go elsewhere..
we are worried that the flood got worst and we bought reserve!!! X) hahaha coz we oso see other ppl grabbing alot in 7-11~
some of our colleagues' home are affected ....
and we bought krisy kreme to cheer everyone up~
ramen at somewhere further down the mall
the sky turned bright at ard 5am... and it doesnt seem that the weather is better ....
outside our hotel... very cool for the dog owners!
and finally its our off day as its sg national day!
start our day off at mc cafe .... why does our mc cafe doesn't seem so nice ?

my colleague is brging us to greenbelt & gioreitta for shopping today...
green belt is like sg paragon.... all the high end stuff is there~
we tried this very nice modern filipino cuisine at MESA, ordered alot ... its at sg rest. price range..

and went to mall of asia to shop....
its really biggg... and we planned to visit here again later in the week~
things we bought!
had late dinner at johnny rockets...
wat unlimited fries! i think if sg like that the rest. will bankrupt
very good service! and the staff danced to the music like hourly!
loots i got .... ALDO flats... SGD 30!!!!
NARS... same price as sg ... at the point of time sg dont hv nars~
