Took tiger airway from sydney to melbourne, journey time is about 1.5hrs~
reached melb at 11am +
as we have no relatives in melb, this is totally on our own...
our hotel is not ready for check in till 2pm... so we deposited our bags at the lobby and went nearby for lunch....
ate at chinatown...

this place become our most visited restaurant in melbourne... LOL..
coz the korean food is cheaper than sg ~

their christmas decor seems not as exciting as our orchard road ...
anyway here our apar-tel.. (apartment hotel / serviced apartment)

excellent location as the tram stop is just infront of the hotel!
our 2-bedrooms apartment... cost about S$500/night
not cheap... but due to the time constraint in finding apartment and planning .. so totally no choice ..
luckily it didn't disappoint~

there's 2 bathrooms, here one of them... comes with washing machine too.. bt no detergent la.. you got to buy yourself..

it's late afternoon after we had settled down and off we went to st. kilda
melbourne temperature is so different from sydney.. it was like 19 deg here?
Took tram 96 to Luna Park ..

theres also weekend market near the esplanade ~
great live band ~
our dinner while waiting for the sky to get darker ... so the little penguins will be out ..
almost 7+... the sky is still so bright ... decided to just walk to the breakwater to try our luck

we did plan to go to philips island to see penguin parade .. but it's strictly no photography there.. and so we decide to try our luck here ..
