Day 6 : Melbourne Great Ocean Road

One of the very famous attraction when you are in melbourne, is great ocean road. it's around a 3 hours    drive from melbourne city. Just in case you are not reading from the previous posts, I on a free and easy tour with 4 senior citizens and i do not have a driving license. what i do is did a google on day tour from melbourne, there many tours around and famous one is like grayline, viator etc ... 

eventually i choose wildlife tours.. 

why? coz its cheap and provide all hotel/hostel pick up within the city, good for us!

as great ocean road is a long journey... we started our day early.. 

woke up at 6.30am... (SG is only 3.30am =( )

i saw hot air balloons! 

oh ya ~ you can actually watch sun rise on hot air balloons in melbourne city.. ard A$100+++/pax (cant rem the price..i know its super ex, if you wanna tk hot air balloons, turkey will be cheaper..)

 as mentioned earlier, travelling to great ocean road is a long journey, but its great that the tour include some small attractions for us along the way... which make the 3hrs with many stops interesting enough!
oh ya ... and i forget to mention its only A$99, the cheaper out of all tours.. (best of all it include morning tea, lunch and further discount when we sign up both GOR & Philips island or 3 pax n above.. so ours work out to A$198/pax for both tours).

arrived some time and we reach Kennett River Holiday Park

didnt know i can see this kinda parrot too... it usually kept as pets in sg... here they are flying in the wild! 

some japanese tourist passed us some food for the birds... and all of them flew to us .. ! 

ducks too!

we also did a rain forest walk ...

on board the bus we saw many cows and sheepssss~!!! mehhhh! 

finally we reach the main attractions, the twelve apostles! 

you can either take the helicopter to view it for A$80 or just walk ~ 

very beautiful indeed! 

went to another stop to view this and then back to melbourne city for 3hrs straight... 

reached the city ard 8pm and went back to the korean restuarant for dinner~ 

craving for steamboat due to the cold and windy weather at GOR ~ 

yumms! and thats the end of day 6~
